Cardio simply means heart. Cardiovascular health is working out your heart to make sure that it stays strong so that you can live longer. To work out your heart, all you have to do is work out for at least 30 minutes in a day. This can be anything for example just taking a walk in the park for at least thirty minutes. It is important to work out your heart since it is of course a muscle and it gets stronger and healthier if you work it out. You will also decrease the chance of getting heart disease by working it out daily.
Three different cardiovascular activities are stair climbing, jumping jacks, and of course running. Stair climbing works out your heart because it raises the rate of which it pumps immediately. Running also raises your heart rate so if you run for at least 30 minutes, you will already be set for the rest of the day as long as you do it the next day as well. Jumping jacks also increase your breathing and heart rate if you do them for a long time so this is another cardiovascular activity that is easy to do.
So that i live a healthier life, all I need to do is run for about 30 minutes a day. This is what i will do during vacation to make sure that I dont gain a lot of weight and i will also play basketball. I will also probably do stair climbing to see how it impacts me and how fast it changes my heart rate. I will do all of this because I will most likely be bored since it is vacation time and there won't be anything to do.
